Based in regional communities throughout NSW and Victoria, BttB community-based charity that focuses on preventative and early intervention strategies for disengaged young males aged 9-22 years.
It has a proven history of being able to engage with and improve outcomes for vulnerable youth and offers a range of programs aimed at supporting the boys to become better men.
In just five years this grassroots organisation has impacted thousands of lives of regional youth experiencing trauma and disadvantage.
Co-Founder and CEO Adam DeMamiel says their purpose is working with young fells that need a bit of help and guidance.
“We started programs to get kids out in the community, we got really good outcomes improving their behaviours and it was all built around connections.”
“Core group are kids that are often disconnected from school, family and community and it’s our job to reconnect them.”
The Ian and Shirley Norman Foundation helps fund boys to participate in Boys to the Bush programs.
