Making Waves Foundation

The Wright of Passage program has been a life-changing experience for past participants of our Sydney program, and I am excited to see this unique program come to Newcastle. The program equips participants, who are disengaged from school, with essential technical skills and a work ready attitude. Through engaging in a meaningful project, it can ignite a passion in participants for an industry that is facing a skills shortage and consequently open a door for a rewarding career. As a passionate sailor,, I can’t think of anything more rewarding than being involved in creating something with your own hands and then learning to sail it. How special and satisfying!
