Schools for Impact

"The Ian and Shirley Foundation's generous funding is enabling Schools for Impact to establish our operations across Sydney in our inaugural year. With this support, we can employ a dedicated Program Director to actively engage with schools throughout the city and build our foundational network of young leaders driving community change.”

Impact 100 Sydney

“This funding provides us the strategic foundation to develop a comprehensive 5-year roadmap for expanding across New South Wales and beyond.”

Impact 100 Sydney

Background and Purpose

The Schools for Impact Program is an educational high school program, focused on fostering the next generation of young leaders in philanthropy. The concept of Schools for Impact originated from Impact100 Sydney, a collective giving circle that brings people together to fund local charities to dream big and transform the lives of people in need. Our new program enables students to participate by learning about social justice and needs in their community. They are then empowered to make real decisions to support grassroots charities by pooling raised funds – turning young people into powerful changemakers through a giving circle model.

Our goal is to inspire youth to become philanthropists by bridging classroom learning with real-world community needs, empowering you to decide where their donations go.
