Background and Purpose

The Youth Impact Foundation (TYIF) delivers evidence-based preventative mental health and wellbeing programs across camps, programs, and digital formats to young people across Australia. These programs are offered in schools, communities, and families, with subsidised access for young people experiencing disadvantage. TYIF’s mission is to ensure that every young person has the opportunity to thrive.

TYIF aims to create a ripple effect in youth mental health and wellbeing, and leadership education, ensuring all young people have access to programs that lead to a brighter future. At the core of TYIF’s approach is a collaborative and scalable system that combines a diverse range of protective factor-focused, strengths-based programs. Through strategic collaboration and consolidation of like-minded organisations, TYIF enhances operational efficiency, economic diversity, and performance, ensuring more sustainable and impactful programs. By doing this, TYIF builds a scalable, open-source framework that maximises impact, amplifies program effectiveness, and improves service delivery across the sector.

Our goal is to reach 1 million young people by 2030, equipping them with the tools, resilience, and confidence to overcome challenges and lead positive change in their communities.
